I would consider this, if I could not get pass the possibility of an employee dying of sleep deprivation,
then heart failure or other related causes, like other addicted gamers who we have lost, may they rest in peace.
This is one of the reasons I don't want to ever ask anyone to play a game or like to,
due to the unknowing medical conditions of others and their addiction.
The average corporations and any company will take advantage of anyone,
exploit them, then bad mouth them and lie,
after stealing intellectual property from employee's or the consumer.
They say capitalism is an excuse to spy on and steal children's future's,
so they can make commercials based on them,
or products or invest into something,
capitalism is a really good excuse to cyber enslave the masses to become a millionaire or billionaire, trust me they don't get RICH by being honest or not stealing intelligence or marketing.
Honestly I believe most people crying on social media about crunching never really had a real job themselves and have way too much free time on the internet.
Selfish to read you prefer that method. As for freeloaders well that's different. But devs being exploited to grind more risking their health is dangerous, nevermind their mental health to please bosses and investors. Have you never worked a job? go and work in medical with not enough staff risking patient health but staff are grinding away by upholding their duties and excellence for low pay and no social life.
You be complaining when the next gta or any other game rockstar procedures is crap.
He prefers what method? Don't think he's saying he prefers any method. He said you should look at how people work in these companies before you pass judgment.
There's a world of people out there that work long hours, doing difficult/hard work to make money that you sound oblivious to. Maybe stop by my work next week tell them you feel I'm working to many hours while you're at it.
It is simply that most alternatives are worse. Capitalism, when the good stories are told, brings out the best in us. The innovation and invention. The drive to succeed.
But that doesn't mean that all is perfect, does it? It is human nature that we see things that go beyond capitalistic intent. It can be perverted to meet selfish needs rather than the greater good.
That's the world we live in. Instead of painting with broad brushes, we need to address specific intent by specific companies. And that's all it is; where we draw the lines of fairness as compassionate humans. It has nothing to do with capitalism, communism, or any other system. It's about us as human beings and where we ALLOW the lines to be drawn.
