I am tired of it, honestly.

Oh look, yet another discussion to complain about the snow in RDO and ask when it's ending! :steammocking:

With just a few seconds of searching you'd have found out that it's scheduled to end on January 5th, 2022. :steambored:

Fingers crossed that it gets removed tomorrow. I appreciate it’s annual appearance, but I’m ready for it to be gone. :)

K, it's january 5th and it's like late into the evening already. You sure what you read was reliable? lol

Also, tbh the fact that everyone is like OMG THE SNOW IS SO GREAT GUYS really just shows how absolutely starved you people are for any actual new content. Like, good lord. The snow is trash. Just admit it. It's not even realistic either. I could see it snowing in the northern areas alot. But in New Austin? And some other dingus said like BUT IT SNOWS IN THE DESERT yeah, but 24/7? I'm not so sure about that chief. It would be fine if the snow was a replacement for rain and such until the event was over. And like I said, if New Austin wasn't as cold as the rest of the map 24/7 (Which makes no sense.) then I don't think I or many others would mind it as much.

But instead like always R* goes the lazy route and just makes it a constant on the entire map. And it REALLY overstays it's welcome too. And people compare it to the GTAO snow. But guys... the GTAO snow barely affects gameplay in a meaningful way either. Lasts way shorter despite that. And in general just isn't as obnoxious as RDO snow.

They go to this great expense and effort to make a world as realistic as possible, then spoil all that hard work with this immature snow display. Nothing breaks immersion faster than having the weather do strange and bizarre things, like snow in a swamp or desert. But I suppose the moronic developers think they are being clever.

I will be certain to stay off-line during the months of December and January next year.

You're confusing me glitch. Must be the grizzly bear thing. But you're right, snow sucks in a game that's mostly hot climates. They should limit it to 3 days around Christmas but I'm only being nice. It should be no days and anyone who likes it should f off.

If they are going to go to all the effort and expense of creating a realistic world they should at least put some effort into making the weather realistic for the terrain. It is a freak weather event to see snow on the green leaves of deciduous trees, or a blizzard in a desert that should be getting less than 3" of precipitation annually. To have that be the constant state of affairs for weeks on end is stupid, unless the goal is to ruin the game.

Why people always have something to complain about?
These seasonal snow updates do not last very long.
I consider it a nice treat around Christmas/New Years time.
It is at least fitting to have in RDR2, except in the Deeper Southern areas.
But much more fitting then it is for GTAV, which just sux to try and do most missions during that time they are having their seasonal snow period.

At least when we don't have the snow update active, we can at least go up North to enjoy it.

It lasts like 2 to 3 whole weeks. It REALLY overstays it's welcome. Also is a big middle finger to new players or lower level players that don't have warm clothing.

Can't wear any actually nice outfits, cause it's too cold.
It would be fine like I said, if it was only like a few days. But a couple of weeks is overkill.

I'll have to whole heartily agree, This snow is a pain and I'm already tired of it. I can't hunt in this blizzard!
