On occasion I forget to take it off, but people let you know lol.
I have gotten very good with that Springfield, now if I could just find the blasted Legendary Grizzly.
Boom, red law dots converging on my position with haste, this is laughable, even had one come from the direction of Strawberry and had to pay a $5 bounty there.
Have a mod in Skyrim to cancel the deer and other fauna from turning my girl in for murder, apparently the bunnies in RDR2 have radios and are calling the Sheriffs Office.
The fact that these mechanics work the way they do with this core and major aspect in the 1899 time period is completely laughable, and will never be fixed lol.
The Aliens must have given the law GPS and Satellite gear, it is beyond stupid and affects greatly a core mechanic of the game with huge negativity.
I have the Law Re-balance mod installed which seems to be doing nothing lol, I am guessing I may have installed it incorrectly, whatever it isn't working it seems.
Blackwater is out of bounds for Arthur. The Super Pinkertons patrol that area and as soon as you're spotted (seconds) they converge in unlimited waves of 100% accurate headshot guys to 'Dissuade' your advance and you were lucky to have 'Retreated' alive.
If you make it past Blackwater into the Great SW, R* has installed Invisible Out of Bounds Snipers that one shot kill ya - dead - gone - forgettaboutit.
That's why I use the patented:
No Out of Bounds Sniper Mod (Nexus)
and
The Native Trainer to tame the Super Pinkertons ('Never Wanted' simply turns them off - they're around, but they don't care about you). Arthur Completionist Fans will enjoy those mods - I do.
Arthur can get all the Animals he needs and catch all the fish, but those quests can't be actually finished by Arthur as he never gets the mail that's intended for John. Arthur can never actually complete the quests, except the Dino Bones.
There's not much to do over there except gather the items you need for completion, a little hunting, perhaps a good deed in Tumbleweed... Complete the Horseman Challenge and Herbalist... that's about it.
I am, right now, in the big field between Beechers and Blackwater gathering Poppies - I need them for Special Snake Oil as they're easier to get than Violet Snowdrop and there's a heck of a lot more of them in higher concentrations around Blackwater.
I'm also watching for the Beecher's Cougar - I'm sure I'll see him momentarily and whatever grade of pelt he's wearing will soon be on the horse - I hope...lol
You're spotted as soon as you cross the river - and dead soon after so they get their point across...lol
Just Mod the Game or Play the Game without going over there as intended. You should play it Vanilla, at least once. After that you'll know what you want to 'Fix'.
I got away because my Dark Bay Andalusian Mare "Coffee" while not a speeding bullet isn't a snail either.^^
Well actually one is, the time mod, but ehh.
For a decade of development I find the wanted system generic and largely broken however, and the interaction with objects in the game as well as the availability of period weapons pretty lacking.
The Super Pinkertons aren't aiming at your horse - they're hitting you right between the eyes...lol
Check out Nexus.
You'll find what you need there.
No out of bounds snipers
Native Trainer
Auto-Greet Replies <---a crowd favorite - and mine.
That's all I run.
I ran Stow that Lantern for a while, but it's kinda buggy - I don't hunt the Cave Cougar, so I don't really need it anyway.
Yea I have seen them on Nexus, and thank you anyway, I have also substantially modded Skyrim LE and SE (all Nexus) in the past, I am not installing these correctly or they aren't working for some reason, I also reacted to the Law Dots instantly and was back across the border so they simply didn't close the range in time, I was already looking for it to happen lol.
"All" of the horses are spooky with snakes or predators I see, including Coffee, she does not however dump me instantly like the Walker did lol, I have grown a soft spot for her, damn the keybinds in this game anyway I accidentally threw her a right hook at the Emerald Ranch Fence lol, she promptly dropped Arthur with a left hind.
I can listen to the guy in the bear trap scream all day, punching the horse pissed me off lol, just for clarity I am a qualified Master Farrier, Andalusians to my memory were almost surely used as War Horses but were never actually classified as such, they were horses for the Elite Class in Spain and Europe, R* it seems just decided they were.
Lusitanians are by genetic code the exact same breed, just different geographically.
How I miss that country, the West Grizzlies just take me back.
Trust me it is very accurate.
If you don't play a 'High Honor' game - you'll reap the benefits of a 'Low Honor' game, particularly not being able to fart without going Dead or Alive. Constantly.
You're supposed to free that guy - not shoot him in the head, but R* gave you the option to earn a Red Hat and go full Satin Squad. You'll also be at the top of the bad guy hitlist.
I can get away with a whole lot of stuff you'll hang for...lol
I haven't found a horse that likes snakes. They think like I do.
The bravest horse in the game is the Turk. Hands down.
I've got 1500 hrs in the game, probably 1000 on a Turk and it dumped me once - when I let a Cougar get too close. It regularly gets up on it's hind legs while surrounded by a 6-Pack of Wolves, while I either take 'em out, or open a hole. Amazing animal.
That's nothing. I have a 300-dollar bounty right now for accidentally firing my weapon at somebody while learning the PC controls. One thing led to another, a gunfight ensued and more people died. Now most of my quests are locked because I'm wanted.
Tough game, even if you have good intentions.
This game definitely teaches you a lesson. It's like the first time you run into the police in Cyberpunk. After your first encounter, you never go near them again.
Wide berth.
I still disagree with how it works however, doesn't matter I have adapted to it, it is what it is.
I guess I got the Boar saddle over the edition I bought, every other saddle i highlight has red stats, like the way it looks on Coffee too, anyway I expect Arthur will be riding her until he dies at this point, was a deal and a steal for $140 Bucks.
I tried to tame the white Arab in the Grizzlies, at 3 months shy of 60 I don't play Multi-FPS these days, stack me up against some 14 year old and I will die every time, it is why I gave up taming any horses lol, I expect John will probably ride a Fox Trotter in the end.
He can by it the first time he hits the Pig Farm.
