Covington Emerald robbery solo, ruthless, and loud

Is it even possible? I just did some futile efforts and then consulted Youtube where a guy recommends doing it in stealth. Great vid, good instructions. Unfortunately, even with his walk-through most can't do it in stealth. And I can see why. Because what I'm seeing is an enemy with 100 per cent line of sight coverage on every square inch surrounding that train. They don't move. They stay at their posts and so the LOS never breaks. There's guy like every 50 feet. I couldn't enter the area from any angle or direction without triggering the alarm because the train is completely surrounded. I tried leaving the area after triggering the alarm, hoping the train would start moving as it did during one of my attempts. Thinking it easier to attack the train once it was out of Saint Denis. Because after the alarm sounds staying in the area is suicide. I managed to almost make it out of Lemoyne running down the railroad tracks at full gallop on the fastest horse in the game fully upgraded. But the Saint Denis police have faster horses and ran me down and killed me. Attacking on horseback in groups of four. When I shot four of them down four more would instantly spawn in the woods and swamps around me. They also chased me all the way into the swamps of southern Lemoyne and killed me. All I did was enter the area near the train. But usually I'm shot down instantly in St Denis, surrounded by at least 20 officers. Somebody was even firing a machine gun at me. I never pulled my gun. I crashed the game, hoping to get my Capitale back. Probably didn't work. And I'll never try this mission again on ruthless setting. Marking it officially.............impossible solo on ruthless and loud. Unless somebody teaches me the secret. There has to be a secret. I'm a good shooter in combat, better than most, but my skills are of no use on this one apparently. Can't win a shoot-out with a huge army in the middle of town. Also, all enemies are invisible in the mini-map but you're expected to see them well enough to shoot them in the darkness as they move at high speed around you on horseback. They don't light up as red dots. So you can't see where the shots are coming from in the dark except by their gun flashes. You can't kill them even with a shotgun blast to the chest at close range with a slug. It takes two slugs if you don't get a head shot. Two high velocity rifle shots to the body didn't kill some of them. A six-shooter is about useless. don't even pack them. Pack the sawed-offs instead. And auto-target is always off. First shot, every shot. So you can't see who is shooting at you. And you can't auto-target them either. Like I said, impossible. What will really make me avoid this mission is another player who said that after he snatched the emerald escaping the relentless police in this mission was the hardest thing he ever did in the game. So I have the Norfolk Roadster yet an endless parade of cops will pursue me constantly shooting at me while riding horses faster than mine. No thanks. I'll pass. Keep the reward.

All I did was jump in the front, don't kill Engineer, kill everyone else on train with a Shotgun and Repeater. Get the emerald, get the hell out of there. Worked for me.
Edit: using a controller is a huge disadvantage, so if you are using it I recommend switching to mouse and keyboard as it's much more responsive in Relentless. As auto aim is off.
