Bad Clothes

Hi @all,
First of all: it don’t own the game in steam but on rockstar.

It’s my second playthrough after a few years now and what alway botheres me is the lack of not enough clothes. Sure there are some good jackets and boots BUT a was looking and hoping for a cool long coat like in the western movies…. There a some coats but not as long as I want it to be maybe a coat that touches nearly the ground. You know what I mean. When I play as a badass I want to wear a nice looking and cool looking coat… what it also not good for me is for example when I found a good shirt or trouser it’s hard to match the look because the trouser is in red color and the shirt does not exits in the color red…. I would buy a dlc with hundreds of clothes but there is none…. Sure there are maybe mods and skins for it but it would be great if this would be in the game from the beginning…. You know what I mean? In every movie they are wearing those coats ….

There are some articles of clothing that are nicer than others. Sometimes they'll be in an Outfit that once you buy will go in your individual inventory items. For instance maybe there's a coat you like, but it's in an Outfit. Buy the Outfit and you'll have the coat.

You'll need to go to every General Store and the Tailor in St. Denis and see what they have. Some articles are ONLY sold in St. Denis and some are ONLY sold at other General Stores. The Dewberry Creek, for instance is only sold in Valentine - once your honor reaches Level 3.

Most of the Trapper Garments are ridiculous, but there are some articles that are rather nice... most can only be used in Cold Weather Gear, but some are not as warm - Vests and such.

Take a look around - see what you can find.

I've not seen a coat as you describe in Single Player, but I haven't looked for it specifically - although I do have every single outfit from everywhere - except Blackwater. It could be there.

Out of curiosity, what westerns are you thinking of where a character has a coat that nearly touches the ground? Seems incredibly impractical, imo. As duderin01 said, the closest thing you'll find to that is the duster or marshal coat.
