Problem with first deer - I can't pick up it.

I press "R" and nothing.
edit. I killed two deers. I see command - press "R" so I do it and nothing.

Well, if it were me, I would just shoot another deer. There is no doubt that the game controls are clunky.

You have to hold R, if that doesn't work try to rebind the control to something else, if it still doesn't work, I got no idea.
