Why am I not surprised? This guy is exceptional. You can kill him in broad daylight with lowest possible honor right next to a cop (like I did) and nobody will even get upset with you. All that happened was I got 'wanted' but it was a warning and the cop just wanted me to 'move along' so I left the area for a moment, came back and looted the guy's body. Nothing. Nobody cared about that either. I didn't even get wanted right away. I ran around the corner as soon as I killed him and then came back after 10 seconds once I realized nobody cared. Then the cop noticed me next to the body and all he wanted me to do was "move along."

I just think this is a bit shallow. R* is basically saying with this NPC that it's okay to kill someone if they have an unpopular opinion. I might not agree with what he's saying, but that shouldn't make the fact that I killed him okay.

Yeah, I'd argue it's pretty immersion breaking.

Hell, there's literally a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ random event in St. Denis where you have the option to save a black guy from getting his ass beat by one of the cops. So it's really weird that they seemingly don't care.

I don't mind it giving you good honor. I just find it bizarre that the cops don't respond either.

Like if you save the black guy you get good honor but still get a wanted level.

Because the Klan is actively trying to hurt people, at least in some instances. It's okay to kill them for the same reason it's okay to kill a Lemoyne Raider or a Del Lobo.
