The vampire killed me, will never respawn?
Literally the whole point of me doing this was to get the dagger. I didn't realize he could one shot you if he landed a hit. Is he just never going to reappear?

Sadly, he never reappears if he kills you.

My last manual save was basically 4 hours ago. So I said screw it. His dagger isn't worth undoing 4 hours worth of gameplay. Guess I ain't getting 100% on the Compendium.

I suggest you reload that save
too late dude that save is hours old now, more than 4 hours old by this point.

HE RESPAWNED! He did reappear for me! I was in Saint Denis at night and I noticed a dead body on the marker, I saved, went into the alley and he was there again. Idk how long it takes for him to appear but if he kills you he eventually reappears. You have to leave Saint Denis for probably 24 hours and then come back around that time.

Yeah that's what I thought too but apparently he does. I have the dagger now. The first time I approached him again he managed to kill me because I couldn't draw a pistol for whatever reason so I just reloaded a save and shot him in the head without talking to him. Less satisfying but at least that's over.

Yes, in Saint Denis. You have to find 5 different wall writings, inspect them, and then follow the clue to the vampire's hiding place. Then go there at midnight and he will be there. Save before going towards him because he can kill you in a single hit. If you want to interact with him go ahead, but I recommend just taking a gun and shooting him in the head from a distance.

4 hours ago? Save more often. Like is this your first single player game.
Like if I was playing FO4 and my last save was 4 hours ago; OMFG I'd throw the PC out the window.
