Treasure maps not working in RDO

Any treasure map I've tried in RDO seems to simply no trigger the treasure. I've googled exact locations of treasure for each of them and when I get there ingame there simply is none. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

there's a fix for that , google RDO collector fix,
i'll see if i can find it real quick
never mind , i thought the map wasnt opening , but you're just having a hard time finding the treasure, if you cant find it look for it another day or switch sessions , i will say this some are hard to find , there are some caves that arent to easy to spot

treasures change daily, use the Jean Ropke maps, one has the treasures, updated daily, https://jeanropke.github.io/RDR2CollectorsMap/ and a second map that all events and locations https://jeanropke.github.io/RDOMap/

Hi sorry I should've specified a bit more. I've been having trouble with the treasure maps that are rank awards not the collectibles. One example would be the bluewater marsh treasure map that is awarded for rank 20. Starting a new session or going back on different days doesn't help either. Thanks for the input guys!

i've experienced the same issue several times yes.
but for me a simple game restart would fix the issue.
so no idea why that wouldn't fix it for you.

try to verify your game files just to be sure.
and maybe it's unrelated, but you can still try pike's comment aswell.
but you'll have to google: RDO metal detector fix.
maybe there's something in there wich is tied with treasure maps not working correctly (like how collector maps can bug out).

try the collector detector fix , it might fix your map problem, it works and it doesnt hurt anything and easy to do , it fixed my collector maps refusing to open

There are 4 spots for each map where it can spawn and it will be random, they are always the same spots for each map. Make sure you used it properly and you get the big yellow circle on the map, then just make sure to check all 4 spots properly, they can be pretty hidden or in caves underground etc

Use that map someone linked, they do not ever change, just which of the 4 spots it spawns in is random each time you use a map
