Ah! But your theory cannot be correct, my good sir. For if Arthur was saving time he would simply drop the spoon. Does he do this? No. He attempts to hang it on the bar of hooks, but there is no hook there and it drops to the ground.
Not only that, but there are closer hooks, and Arthur chooses to hang it in the last spot a hook would be, also inefficient!
This begs the question, who removed the hook from that last spot? What was their intent? Was Arthur the intended target or an unsuspecting spoon user? Why does Arthur continue to attempt hanging the spoon there every time? Why does Arthur never bother to pick the spoon up?
You're so close to unraveling the mystery... the mystery THEY don't want you to know.
It's just too taxing to make the effort to go that extra mile.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Edit: I didn't see the Setouchi Mary I read that as, "...why Arthur drops the soap..." XD
"I have a theory as to why Arthur drops the soup spoon on the ground every time he gets soup.
What's your theory?"
But you never mentioned YOUR theory.
I asked you your theory first. Now out with it. Why does Arthur ALWAYS DROP THE SOUP SPOON?
