Just got this error twice for just sitting still on horse. Waiting for another update before trying again.

lol stubbornly went at it for about an hour. 10 times it happened. i just gave up. i tried doing many thing in settings and even just standing still in game on a horse and not on a horse. even happened whilst browsing the settings. crash crash and craaaaaaaash. idk wtf to do if i can do anything.

Rolling back to driver 466.47 actually solved it for me.
I'm on GTX 1080

EDIT: 466.27 seems to be even more stable.

doubt has to do with nvidea driver considering it only started to happen like crazy after the blood money update.

It's not your nvidia driver, it's online specifically. If it was the Nvidia driver, it would be crashing in Story mode, as well as it not crashing the entire lobby, but specific to you only. Nothing you do is going to help, as it's on their end, not yours.

I searched everywhere for answer's, I've done everything...
This fixed the issue for me and my other two friends that was getting the error.
The only issue is turning off Real-Time does not stay off. You'll have to turn it off every time you turn on or restart your PC.
But 100% fixed our error fffff crash

i was getting that error too only thing i did was turn off my mic in the in game settings,haven't got the error since

A fix that worked for me. I verified games files in steam and then per the instructions of a youtube video I deleted the Red Dead Redemption 2 folder from "My Documents." Hasn't happened to me since. I was nervous about deleting that but apparently it's just cache I didn't lose my saves steam just did a first time start up window then the game loaded and everything was fine.

Try disabling Steam Overlay in game. This worked for me, haven't crashed all day since I did this.

Something that worked for me somehow:

I plugged my headphones into a different USB port. Went from a crash every 20 minutes, to being able to play normally for four hours yesterday, before deciding to log off instead of crashin'.
