Cant hear with Bluetooth headphones
This issue appears to have been going on for awhile now...Im seeing other comments that are at least 2 years old. Im at a loss of what else to try.

When using my Bluetooth headphones, I can only hear the initial loading and firing of the gun in the intro. Once menu screen appears, all sound is completely cut out. This is the only game affected so far. Even other Rockstar games like GTA V are working fine. Here are the steps I've tried so far.

*Re-installed game
*Verified Local Files
*Deactivated all other sound devices
*Switch audio devices to speakers and back to headphones again
*Updated Windows and rebooted PC
*Unchecked "allow app to take exclusive control"
*Removed Audio Enhancements
*Closed all apps like Discord
*Sound works through monitor speakers and mic works in headphones, but cant get sound to work in headphones as well as the mic like in other games

Only thing I cant seem to do that I've tried is adjust Sound's default format - which is actually dithered out

This was an issue with the game for a lot of people for several months, but they fixed it a while back. The problem used to be that you would have to start up the game with no sound, and the only fix was to alt-tab out of the game and go to sounds settings and turn the volume up specifically for the Red Dead Redemption 2 application, and then you could go back into the game with sound. I use blue tooth headphones, and I don't have that problem any more though..they fixed it as far as I can tell. Strange that you're still having that problem. The only thing i can think to try is to go into device manager while your bluetooth headphones are active, and then remove them from device manager, and let windows re-install the drivers for them.

Bro worked for me thanks! I did alt tab out and turned volume up specifically RDR 2 on my volume mixer.

This didn't work for me. Have a Jabra headset, bluetooth. Volume mixer is 100% on all apps. Seems like RDR2 just doesn't work with bluetooth. Very unfortunate.

Sorry to hear that. I use bluetooth headphones with no issues with RDR2
