If you turn off auto-aim in the controller settings you will get connected to different servers with people who have no auto-aim

Thats not my issue though, i want to be able to use auto with a keyboard and mouse. For me the Online mode is basically unplayable (Online missions, im talking about) with free aim and i dont want to have to use a controller. I really dont get why they wouldnt allow players to use auto aim on keyboard and mouse, make zero sense.

Because it's easy already to aim with a keyboard and mouse

Still auto aimers have a big advantage even with sniping but mouse and auto aim would be overkill

If gamepads gets ingame build aimbot why keyboards cant ? Then why mix players playing on different inputs together lol
Its lke R* saying 'This group will be aimboting, this group you can f off..git gud' dunno.. stupid..
I just feel sorry for casuals who has to suffer ingame aimbots.

They are not mixed together. As I said above go into controller settings and turn auto-aim off. You won't be able to turn it back on in-game because it's server controlled. Don't cry about things we can fix ourselves, there's more important issues out of our control.

Because auto-aim is designed for gamepads. The intrinsic shortcomings of gamepads in FPS games required auto-aim to make it as nearly as fluid and enjoyable as K+M.

If you have a problem with no auto-aim for FPS games, that's on you. A minimum skill level is required to play this kind of game. Might I suggest Candy Crush for you?

Why do you want aim assist in the first place? Its not like aiming with mouse is hard...
Brickzy Dec 17, 2019 @ 2:54am
they should just get rid all the aim assist in pvp....

Then you massively disadvantage controller users. The only fair way would be to separate controller users and K&M users into different lobbies to begin with. I can't see any way to balance the two control methods in any meaningful way, someone will always be at a disadvantage.

Because the auto-aim is added in to make up for the shortcomings of trying to precision aim with analog sticks, which is just a trainwreck. WITHOUT auto-aim, the game is practically unplayable on controller, because you don't have the speed and agility to get to targets quick enough while they are all zeroed in on you. With a mouse, this isn't the case. You being unable to keep a steady hand isn't the same thing as an inherent flaw in the control system being taken in to account. If you don't like free aim, use a controller, if NEITHER of these options is acceptable for you, there is a very robust single player game for you to enjoy.

Aim assist for KB/M... why? You have more precision using a KB/M when it comes to FPS games, that is why there is no aim assist for KB/M... Like someone already mentioned, it would be far too easy if KB/M had an aim assist.

Also, do you even use Dead Eye with the Paint it Black ability card? You become a god, all you need to do is move your cursor over the head of a player/NPC in Dead Eye and it's a one shot when you left click, assuming you can aim at the head int he first place with KB/M.
