Should I buy the game on steam or on rockstar?
I read about opening the game with 2 launchers if its on steam, idk if it affects performance, but I also read there are steam achievements and progress record. I want your opinion here guys, should I buy it on rockstar or should I buy it on steam? If I buy from steam, will i miss out on anything from buying it on rockstar? (and vice versa)
Also, do both platforms release updates at the same time or does steam get less frequent updates than rockstar for this game?

Get it on Steam i did, it want effect your performance, it will run like gta 5 or any ubisoft game, the rockstar launcher will open and the game launches then the rockstar launcher goes to sleep in the background , you can pull up your task manager during gameplay and see that its not doing anything

might as well buy it on steam since you're concerned about achievements you're obviously a tool.

The achievements are at least something no other launcher offers, and you have it here on steam with your other games (i dont want my games spreaded at hundreds of launchers)

Always Steam, just for the better refund policy if you need it. Steam actually refunds games that the direct publisher will not. Example, any digital purchase including full games that you get from Uplay have a zero refund policy. In cases like this Steam covers the cost of the refund.

Steam isn't perfect in this sense but has the best policy on it. I once had my Steam account suspended for 2 months over 0.50 cents. I bought a game but it turned out to be 50 cents over my credit card limit. It was a hassle, I had gone back and forth with Steam asking if I could just buy another copy at full price or pay them the 50 cents. They wouldn't let me do that, instead making me wait for my credit card company to contact Steam and confirm it was my card and that the funds were available. They did reactivate my account within 5 minutes of that happening though.

Steam for cards and achievements.

Rockstar is better. At least you can't receive a community ban because one steam moderator don't like what you said.

Steam because if it doesn't run for you, the refund is unconditional.
