Mouse Cursor Bug
Hello,

Alright, so I have it on Rock Star Games, but hopefully the Steam community knows of a way to fix this annoying issue anyhow. I've tried Rock Star support but it has been a week and I've been ignored utterly. lol

So it pops up only on the right side of the screen, so if I move to the right, it shows up. I'm using the Vulkan API (performs better with my AMD card) and I just recently installed the newest driver fresh, but I have had this issue since the day I bought the game.

Any ideas? :steamsalty:

Mine does that too, but not always. Not sure what triggers it, but I agree it is annoying.

Are you also on the Vulkan API, or DirectX? If the later, it is a widespread problem that they seriously need to start looking into. If the cursor pops up, and I have the inventory open or something, I can't click anything because it thinks I'm trying to click something on my desktop and not in the game. :cozycastondeath:

Have they even addressed the issue? I've googled it, and it seems like a ton of people have the issue, but no solutions have been found, for any client. :lunar2019deadpanpig:

Try not to move to the right. No more issue

Had the same issue, it seems to be an application in the background like Ai Suite for Asus Motherboards, Windows Gaming Overlay or other Notifications (Notification Bar Windows).

Try to close every application you don't use while playing and the issue should be gone.

There is a soft solution:

I don't like this solution at all, so I prefer to close every launcher and application that's not necessary.

Only application I have open is Discord, to talk with my friends/posse. To close it would be really unhelpful. haha this sucks. I wish they'd get their ♥♥♥♥ together and just fix it.

It's just windows 10 popup about that you can record your gameplay or something (cant remember now). use alt+tab and click on it and it will be gone - that's a quick "fix" for me. Or you can find this recording option in windows and disable it. Settings > Gaming > Game Bar

I don't have Game Bar enabled. :P

Disabling in-game notification in windows+g settings did the trick for me. But since you say your game bar isn't enabled, my guess is that you have some other form of overlay popping behind your game rather than in front of it.

Yea, I'm guessing it is discord, but since I use it to talk to my friends (who are also in my posse) I guess I just have to deal with the stupid cursor bug. :steamsalty:
