Yeah, that's not how it works.
Best guess is Steam started up, Partion was still bitlocked, Steam couldn't access the Directory and marked it as gone.
And just for my curiosity, from all the stuff you could hide behind a bitlocker why your Games Part....nevermind i think i understand....Yarrrrrr

Seems about right, so steam deleted it, awesome.
Not exactly, usually it's just marked as not installed. btw it's a common problem more or less.

That I knew, but I never had a game not be recognize after choosing my steamlibrary let alone delete the whole game.
I'm not bad with computers, I didn't have explorer open before I restarted the PC, and I sure didn't accidentally get into the directory and just marked everything and shift+deleted the whole content of the folder.
They had a similar bug in the xbox release
