I can't open the journal of arthur
I keep pressing J and nothing happens
i changed the bind to another one and it still would not open

Since it's 2 hours ago since you asked i recon you have played a bit since then? All i could think of was that you were in a sort of a mission or something and therefor are unable to do things like that. If you try and save your game now, are you able to?
