Cant Play Rockstar Social Club email doesnt even exist anymore
DL and the rockstar launcher keeps asking me to verify my email.
first i dont even know how steam or whatever would link to an random account of mine, not sure how it works but i would assume it would ask you first to login with your account like any other game that uses a 3rd party client

but yea now im stuck, i dont even remember having an account, i think back in the day with GTA 4 i had to make one i really do not know

so what do i do, can i unlink this account somehow and make a new one?
or?!?!

iv created a new account
when i start it it finds RDRD2 but i cant start it beacust it keeps saying some other account is linked to it
seriously i dont think iv ever linked this old account
and when i try to link my social club to steam there is no steam option to link to

Okay....update. I got mine working. I went to RockStar Social Club using my internet browser. I signed on to my account from there. It remembered my login info (old email) and let me connect.
From there you click on profile name and then click edit. You will see your acct. info there. Highlight you email address to change it. HERE'S THE RUB, you need to know the password you used. I got lucky and my pass worked for me. After I entered the new email a box opened and wanted to verify. The verify was sent to my new email instantly, I confirmed it and the change was accepted without delay.
The game launched just fine after that. If you created your account from a console system I'm guessing maybe try accessing your account from there if you're not recognized using your browser.

i just emailed supported explained the situation told them i got a new account luckly it uses the same account as steam so i send them screenshots, now i just have to wait for an replay and hope that works.

i totaly forgot about login into my old account i properly remember even my password but i sent them an email now and i cant see an option to delete it. i will wait for now before any more problems come up, but thank you for reminding me if support cant help i will try doing that

Yeah I can understand why you would wait and see, lol. With all the trouble I'd be cautious too.

You know, there are people who get paid by Rockstar specifically to help you with problems like these. You'd get it resolved a whole lot faster too. Especially something as simple as OP's email recovery.

R* e-mail has to be same as used on Steam.

had the problem resolved went realy fast
i contacted RD2 support and was put in a live chat with a support guy.
he asked me to confirm i had the game and it belongs to me
i had to take a few screenshots with my steam name etc send it to him
and i was able to change my email
over all an good experience and it didnt take long
