No players in free roam

So i join a free roam and its always empty just me no one else. Anybody know a fix

They are there but the map is huge.Who needs other players anyway so you can do your thing without being interrupted

there is an extremely rare occasion when i see one player at the saloon in free roam, and i kill them, and then there is no one again.

Yes, hold "L" and you will see the player list. You can only see players that are really close to you.

If you are indeed in an empty session I guess it's your network having issues connecting you with others.

the 'Nearby' players list is actually just a list of ALL players in the session, regardless of their location
