118 GB OF UPDATE?
Hey I have problem that after I did verify integrity on Rockstar Launcher, it says that going to update for 118gb which is full game size.

Any solution to prevent the update?
Literally I was playing RDR2 1 hour ago and this update just showed.

I'm having the same problem. Have you managed to fix this? I let it download it 2 times already but everytime I press on verify again I always have to redownload the whole 118gb again...

I asked Rockstars last time, their response is to let it re-download the game. But I just deleted the game since that bug appeared. I know we can't rely so much now on Rockstars. :steamsad:

If you have multiple Steam Library folders on a couple of different hard drives, make sure they are in the correct drive letter folder on Steam. If you have all of the contents of the game in a folder you can drag and drop to where it should be, and instead of downloading the entire 100+ gigs it will say "Discovering Existing Files" or something to that effect, and it will be available in your library again. if all else fails and you cant be bothered to wait on slow download speeds. Recover your PC to a restore point before the game vanished.

I don't think that's the problem, but Rockstars Launcher is.

I am also having this issue. It's been my 4th time redownloading the game because of this issue, downloading my 5th now.

At first, I thought it's because of my primoCache setup, but nope, turning it off while downloading didn't fix it.
Also, I already tried uninstalling the game first before redownloading it, but also didn't fix it.
Last, I tried to download it to another partition on another disk, also didn't fix it.

FYI, I verify my game because I am having crashing issues recently, but now I'm stuck with a whole another issue when trying to repair my crashing issues. Overmore, I don't think it's because of Steam, because I don't own the Steam version of the game, I own the Rockstar Games Launcher version game.

sounds like it is something wrong with the install of the Rockstar Launcher try uninstalling and then running the game. I've had weird issues like this when using launchers that I haven't used in a long time
