Online Character's "Voice"

I tried to get back into the online mode with a new character for a fresh start. So I made this badass looking 40-something year old. All good so far. Got into the game and he sounds like a little teenager every time he shouts at the horse to move with these high pitched "hyaa" or whenever he makes sounds getting hit, falling and so on.

All I could find out about this is that your "voice" is for some reason determined by whistle and I only found speculation on which whistle, pitch and clarity combo gives which voice. I tested several characters and they either had the teenager voice or a slightly older voice and neither of them reflect the way my character looks.

I don't understand why there isn't an option like "Vocals" with at least 5 styles from high to low, separate to the whistle option. Why is it even a possibility that I can create a 40-60 year old man and he sounds like a kid? That design is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ abysmal. I doubt I'll be creating and deleting 20 characters to find the right voice. If there is a certain whistle combination that makes your character's balls drop I'd appreciate someone letting me know about it.

When you create your character isn't there an option to also pick your age. I think there is.

There is but the age doesn't affect what voice you get. I made a character age 60 and he was high pitched. It's just weird. If I'm going to spend hundreds of hours as a character I want him to sound right.

when i made my character it had the voice i wanted but then change after i did a mission
