Any mods that remove the need to eat, maintain weapons, etc?
So, I had played this back on console, and found the need to do things like eat or other such things to fill those "cores", or whatever they were called annoying. I also didn't really like having to maintain and clean weapon. I felt that the first game was better in that regard. Simply put, I play games for fun, not hyper realism.

I did enjoy my time with it, but those issues really annoyed me, so I ever got far. Since the game is currently on sale, I figured I might get it for steam, but try to mod the game. I can find mods that add more of those cores that need to be filled, but none that remove them entirely.

As such, is anyone willing to link, or at least point me in the right direction, of mods that would fix these issues for me? For what it's worth I never intend to play multiplayer, only the singleplayer.

you don't "have" to do anything. the punishment for having dirty weapons is negligible (The entire game is a series of deadshot headshots anyway) and eating is quick and simple if you know what items to use.

Totally agree. The incessant need to feed, restore cores for self and horse makes this game feel like a Sim sometimes. Also the food/tonics are way overpriced. Don't know if it exists, but your idea of a mod to fix this annoying/tiresome chore is a good one. This "love it or leave it" attitude about the game is strange to me. If enough people vented their frustrations about this game, maybe the developers would make some changes. On second thought - Rockstar? Yeah, probably never happen.

What are you talking about?

Health, Stamina, Focus can all be refilled with all kinds of " drinks " which act like in other games (mana/health potions).

You easily get away with not eating actual food for more than a handful of days afaik.

Even your horse can be fixed up with drinks.

A drink can be consumed while walking or riding an does not really consume your time.

This game does not act like " Scum ", " Green Hell " or other popular surival games as it isn't a survival game.

Refilling your 'cores' is simply part of the game as the game is intended to be played slow-paced and experiencing your environment, how people would prefer to remove such immersive features is beyond my understanding as this isn't a "shoot'n go" kind of game.

Now having said my opinion on the topic... NO, I do not know any mods that remove such features, in fact I have never used a mod for this game and wasn't even aware there are mods at all as the game is very enjoyable as is for me so far.

I wish you guys all the best to find the mod you are looking for, so you can eventually enjoy the game.

Why do you even want to play this game?, It`s all part of the game. picking up goods, hunting, fishing, looting houses, hunting for goods is a big part of it. If you just want kills this is not the game you want to play. I don`t gt it.:steamhappy:

I want to play it because I loved the first game. I dislike mechanics like this though.

From what I've seen both here and on various places online, people look down on you if you use mods, as you aren't playing the game as intended. And here I was thinking that PC players like to lord over console players that we can mod games. Yet, despite that they also shun those that do use mods. Oh well. Seriously though, getting mad at other people you don't know and will never meet because they want to play the game in a different way is just being a jerk.

Sorry, just had to vent a bit.

So you find a mod that means you don't need to eat, that would also make you invincible? If your health never drops or you don't need health, it only leaves god mode as an option.

sounds like op wants Arthur to run around in god mode. plenty of options on the nexus.

2021 and people are still throwing alt f4 jokes around, yikes

b2t: neither neglecting cores nor weapons has terrible consequences. You don't wanna bother? So simply don't

I don't want a god mode. I want the hunger mechanic removed. That would not make the character invincible.

What? I don't want to be invincible. I just want to remove the hunger mechanic.

the game's health system depends on the health core. When Arthur regenerates health his health core becomes empty. If you didn't need to worry about the Health core, you could regenerate health indefinitely.

I was not aware of that.
