Lemoyne Raider's Hats

I have been trying for a while to get the Infantry and Hardee hat variants used by the Lemoyne raiders but whenever I pick up the hats they disappear after loading screens and do not appear on my horse or wardrobe. I have read that they have to glow in regular sight, but I am still unable to get either hat. Is there a specific place I need to go to to get it or alternatively is there a console command or something of that nature I can use to get either hat? (Especially the Infantry hardee hat variant)

Yes I know but they are not listed in that section even if I am currently wearing them. The problem is that the hats just are not saved not that I cannot find the tab. Also isn't your character a duplicitous ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? ;)

The grey Hardee hat cannot be saved unfortunately. The forage cap/kepi is savable. Have you found the Union Hardee? That is a collectable and can be worn.

Yeah been a while since I watched the movie lol.

Yeah I found the Union one, but Im in the middle of Lemoyne chapter so I thought it would be thematic to wear a confederate style outfit instead of the union one i got now.

I wanted that hat too. Real pity you can't save it. RDO has Hardees and shell jackets in grey and butternut, as well as a mounted greatcoat. I've now got a Missouri Guerrilla in my wardrobe lol.

I kinda favour the old worn cavalry hat. Can be blue/grey or otherwise.
I cant stand the clothing in online, as they look like they have been looted from, A b-grade cowboy movie wardrobe. If it ain't dusty it ain't legit & may as well be city folk.
its like the SUV trend, posers that have never gone offroad or seen a lick of mud.

Yeah I agree, I played online briefly and decided it was a waste of time. Though that might be because I have no friends nor social life.

Yeah I Know there is a few its just most are garish and overstated.
There was no real reason why all the clothes from story could not have been included in online.
For what ever reason they kept all the content from online out of story but the reverse is just more stuff for people to grind for and more variety to customise their avatar imo.

A fair point. Some of the player characters look ridiculous. A lot of the catalogue stuff is old and worn though. The worst clothing is the Bounty Hunter outfits you can get for levelling up. It looks like bondage gear ffs.

What's really ****ed is that some of the clothing items that are also in single player actually cost gold bars in online mode.

So they are effectively making people pay real cash for the same content twice, and they've done it in a manipulative way that keeps people from realizing how much they're being scammed.



@OP In my experience most of the hats seem to be randomly dropped. It's only certain ones that are in the same location every time (like the racoon hat from the drunk guy in valentine)

I've seen videos of where to find certain hats, and while the NPC's will usually be wearing the hats, they aren't saved to my horse when I pick them up.
