Unlocking achievement causes game to crash

Whenever I get an achievement the game crashes and I get an error "ERR_GFX_D3D_DEFERRED_MEM". I don't think it has anything to do with my game file integrity since I never installed any mods. I also have the "-ignorepipelinecache" launch argument on which has stopped the game from crashing when I move on to new chapter but this bug has still remained. It's really annoying when you start a new chapter get an achievement and then game crashes it makes the game unenjoyable. I don't want this to happen at the end of the game cause it would suck.

My pc specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 3550h
GPU: GTX 1650m
RAM: 8gb (2x4)

Swap from Vulkan to DirextX in your ingame settings

Same problem here and it's definitely not vulkan/directx related cause I already use directx...

Hey I found a fix that might work for you too. So everytime I unlocked an achievement I noticed it displayed both Rockstar social club achievement and Steam achievement so I had to disable the steam achievement notification which can't be turned off, So I just disabled the steam overlay completely and I haven't encountered the issue since. I hope it helps and please let me know if it did.

Exit the game when you get an achievement in Steam. It is not possible to play all the time exiting the game when receiving an achievement on Steam.

Lol why do you have to turn off or exit outta anything? Thats not a solution guys. Your SGA files of the games or the Directx Shader cache is corrupted. Go to Rockstar Games > Red Dead Redemption 2 > Settings in your Documents folder and delete all the sga_ files. Then go into your graphics settings and clear your shader cache. Then go to Steam-Settings-Shader Pre-Caching and turn it on if its off and restart the pc. If that doesnt work do the same thing but now also add this launch argument to the game settings "-ignorpipelinecache" and restart the whole system again and cross fingers =]
You should also dampen your overclocks if you have some. Slightly less memory clock and higher voltage :* And guys use the Vulkan shaders not the DirectX ones, because if you have an outdated DirectX version it could cause that same error and other problems. DirectX Shaders are more offtenly used for System related tasks. Just use Vulkan. And please check the integrity of the game as well as the Steam files integrity. There should be a tut somewhere how to do Steam files integrity check. And please dont use software like Afterburner if you dont know EXACTLY what you are doing. You use Afterburner to observer current stats not to alter them. They bypass certain security measures and that could causes headaches.
