Is there any way to disable BGM and forced aiming at the horse?
Just to completely disable the BGM, trying turned musical score or something in the Settings all the way down seems to have no effect (still really loud music during combat), and is it even possible to not automatically aim at our horse if we press the aim button while standing near it?

You can turn down the music but when you go to set that the game will reboot itself. Try it anyway. I have music turned all the way down and sound effects turned up so I can find prey much more easily. To me, (the restarting) is poor program design, but its the way it is.

That's the right setting, isn't it? It's been like that for hundreds of hours, but there's still loud music in RDO. And yes I agree, very unnecessary,

Yes, that's definitely the right setting. Turning it down works for me, except for the loading screen music. Might be a bug? I sometimes have weird things happen in the settings menu. Maybe try resetting everything back to defaults then see if the volume setting sticks?
