Performance?

Im jiggling between buying this for PC or xbox one x - Although for the xbox Ill need to invest in a new tv whenever a good one comes for sale later this year..
But how is the performance on PC?
What could I expect with a RTX 2070s and r9 3900x?

I think you can outperform your Xbox with that specification, better graphics quality on PC with higher FPS also have an option to play with M&K.
The downside with PC is you have to sit right in front of the monitor while with Xbox you can sit on your couch with a bigger display except you connect your PC to your TV but that's gonna make it run at 60 FPS.

Xbox One X, as in the 2017 one? That 2070S and the 3900X would outclass it by country miles.
RDR2 has an extremely indepth Graphic settings game. I'd recommend to look up "RDR2 optimized Settings" on YouTube. Allows you to tweak the game however you want.

Because I got that kind of error too and it fixed by added -ignorepipelinecache to the steam launcher.

M8 I don't know the specs of an xbox, nor how the game looks/performs on an xbox contra PC.
Last ti e I looned i to this fame for pc all I heard was "unoptimized unoptimized unoptimized"

I am on a Ryzen 5900x and a RTX 2080ti, I am running the game at a mix of ultra/high and medium settings on 1440p, and the avg. FPS from the benchmark is around 78 fps.

i run on 1070 Ti - i get 58 FPS average on 2K monitor (2560 x 1440).
