American Distillation Mission Glitch

At the point when you are suppose to follow Archibald, Archibald starts to walk in the direction of the mission and then the glitch happens. Archibald does a 180 turn and then stands facing the wagon and does nothing. I've tried to purposely fail the mission, cancel the mission, and restart from checkpoint to restart it but it just freezes the game no matter which option I take. Has this happened to anyone else?

That's the stock answer for - almost everything...lol

I found out this is a solution only for steam games, but still do not understand why..... do not have this kind of issues in a different launcher

I think Steam doesn't dwell too much on lost packets, knowing Verify Files usually takes care of missing or incomplete data. No sense holding up a HUGE download for something you can fix later.

That's a wild assed guess.

In this game - if you get someplace and can't make it go - Verify Files. Usually fixes it.
Then again maybe you can't make it go 'cause you haven't done something. Verify Files - then look for that thing you didn't do if it's not fixed.

Just in case somebody still has this problem. I fixed it by making sure these mods are inactive during missions (each of them has a .ini file with a flag you need to set):


- Bandit Hideouts
- Needs
- PedDamageOverhaul
- Bounties expansion
