Cant sell my legendary bear pelt?

I tried selling my legendary bear pelt at the bucher but it always just tells me "The shopkeeper does not accept this item". Can somebody tell me where I can sell it?

You should sell it at Gus. For each unique legendary pelt you sell to Gus, you can buy a garmant set made of that pelt from Gus.

There are 6 locations where can you find Gus:
* In Cholla Springs, New Austin, East of Tumbleweed
* In Tall Trees, West Elizabeth, South West of Manzanita Post
* In Big Valley, West Elizabeth, North East of Riggs Station
* In Big Valley, West Elizabeth, North West of Owanjilla Dam
* In New Hanover, North West of Elysian Pool
* In Saint Denis, at the market East of town

Do you have Naturalist role unlocked? You might need this to unlock Gus.

If you have the Trader role you can also sell it to Cripps.

If you're playing story mode, then you can't sell it to a butcher, only to a trapper.
