What's your CPU temperature? (Laptop players)
My i7 9750h is under CPU 78º degrees now (while playing) and I'm wondering if it's still considered hot. I undervolted, before undervolt I was getting 95º.

What's yours?

It's the downfalls of owning a laptop. Not much space for ventilation as everything is packed in tight. Your fans will always spin 100pct.

Keep playing til your card blows up I say

Get one of those laptop cooling pads.

My laptop average temps when playing games like RDR2 is around the mid to upper 70c range which is pretty cool for a laptop

Ryzen 7 4800H/GTX 1660TI

Even after undervolting I'm not satisfied for some reason. I was expecting more I guess. I'll have to conform playing with 75 degrees, still better than 95 degrees.

i thought my 67 was bad, jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.
o:
Well and i have the same CPU and it's 93-95 nearly all the time, while the gtx 1660 Ti is nearly 80-85 degrees. The 9 gen intel mobile chips are known for being ovens.

It's a laptop. You either have a desktop or you're playing without turbo boost. Or just trolling.

Have you tried undervolting? Or just reducing the ghz.

Waste of money.

ah, so someone with a desktop can't talk about their temperatures? this is a laptop user only thread?
Yeah, I was actually asking specifically to laptop users, can you even read? I'm not interested in desktop temperatures, of course they are going to be cooler. And no, cooling pads don't work. You sound like those grannies buying weight loss pills at Walmart

It's cute that you're defending your boyfriend and all but if you wanna talk about desktop CPU you can freely open another thread about it.

Agree. I tried 3 different cooling pads. None of them worked. I finally just put the laptop on some small blocks, so that it's raised about 2 inches off the table. Works pretty good.

Don't understand why they put the air intakes on the bottom of laptops. The hot air pushed out of the back heats up the desk so its warm air being pulled in.

Using throttle stop to undervolt and lock the GHz to 3.2 helped reduce my Dell G5 by a good 20c-30c altho not enough to play RDR for my taste as the fans still got really loud.

For OPs question my I7 8750h reaches 68c-72c after using throttle stop. 98+ before.
