Random prisoner in chain.

I was going for the first poker mission in act 2 with the reverend. On my way there I met a guy in chain. He asked me to free him, so I shot his chain. He just left without telling me anything.

I reloaded and the guy still there, look like I have some options on what to do with him. This time I will make this count.

I'm just undecided if I will drop him at the sheriff or free him and see if he gives me something.

Well I reloaded again and the guy is not there anymore, so I guess I'll just stick with my original decision. He is free now, hope I see him again. I'll turn him in next time !

event random but it leads to something more, kinda, idk maybe its just more random events but you meet him again

like if you save somebody in the woods, maybe you meet them later in game somewhere, you catch my drift? wink wink

My advice is just play the game, make the decisions you want Arthur to make, and live with them. Some things you do early on MAY affect other things much, much later (for better or for worse). You will not always see the results of your decisions right away.

Here's the truth OP
You shoot the chains. He is grateful and tells you about a robbery opportunity. At that point you can let him walk away or lasso him and bring him back to the sheriff for a bounty... lol

I've come across an empty prisoner wagon, took the empty prisoner wagon drove it with great fun and sold it to the Fence in Emerald.
Then I've also seen 2 prisoners dead on the side of the road.
How often you seen or heard of someone being taken to jail on the back of a horse shouting I'm innocent lol maybe these are just the fun stuff to test us do we want to save them or not.
