Why does taking care of my horse cores give positive honor?
Seriously, it's a dumb mechanic as you have to literally ride a horse that has empty courses and is worse to have low honor.

You can go from low to high honor just by feeding your horse hay to keep it's cores up.

This should be offset by a 'spur' option where you can slowly drain your horses health core for higher speed and stamina and negative honor because you're cutting huge holes in its side with spiked spurs.

It feels like this was supposed to be a mechanic but animal rights reasons got rid of it or something. Spurs could be pretty brutal if used wrongly. Abusing your horse should give you some sort of positive benefit but with a loss of honor.

You have to go on hour long murder sprees to counter taking care of your horse.

It doesn't matter, honor has no significance at all in online.

it matters if your trying to keep low honour to do the other 50% of the online story missions.

Shoot a few mooks and be done with it. I do believe there should be a few easy dishonor mechanisms just like there are easy honor mechanisms.

This. It feels like the R* may have had the idea of using spurs to make your horse go faster but give you negative honor but dropped it because of the animal activists who would whine that you hurt your horse in a game about hunting, robbing and murdering.
