Not exaclty, there are few unique random encounters.
For example: hanged corpses by Murfree Brood could be missed if the player trigger the event ignoring the corpse. If you miss them, you lose unique letters. I have found only one of two corpses in Roanoke Ridge, probably the second corspe was spawned and I missed it or it was bugged. The second event never happened again, I'm pretty sure because I finished my game after 350 hours.
Another unique event is a woman with a dead horse in New Hanover. This event was particular because you could use a glitch to get her horse, if i'm right it is a Silver Missouri Fox Trotter. Very rare and expensive.
Another is an encounter with two fugitives in Lemoyne. If you help them, they will give you a gold bar. If you doesn't trigger the event asap, then you can find their corpses.
