They do call these things challenges for a reason. This one takes the cake for being the worst one imo. I am pretty sure you just have to get lucky. You could try going to the table in Rhodes if you aren't already trying your luck there.

Also try getting in seats that get low number cards consistently. Sometimes you just have to be patient for the guy to get up and leave. Then you take his seat.

I completed Gambler 8 three times total over the course of multiple playthroughs and my longest run ended up being circa 2 hours. I got it in 30 minutes once as well. Follow the steps in that post, you'll get there eventually. Good luck!

after 3 hours of playing I won 2 times. Left last one another time for mental purpopes. Thanks reddit post helped a little.

Really sucks the fun out of the game for a while, doesn't it :/. You're almost there though! Hopefully that last win doesn't take as long.


Since we're on the topic of the Gambler challenges anyway, if I may offer a piece of advice for Gambler 9 in case you're not already aware:

After you've won one game of dominoes and the second one doesn't seem to be going in your favor you can simply leave the game before it finishes and the consecutive counter will not be reset during the rest of your play session. Same thing applies to the third round. Don't reboot the game or load up a different save file though, because that will reset it. Knowing this makes the entire challenge a piece of cake, just time consuming.

Hah. Took 3 hours more to win the last blackjack game. Finally finished it. I had hit 21'' 4 times with 5 cards guess what the dealer had ? not even gonna bother saying it.

For dominoes I've never played in my life but turns out I'm quite pro on that. Never even lost a round finished it under 20 mins at emerlard ranch with 2 oppenents(3 total with me).

Dear lord, that ended up being 6 hours total then?! Kudos to you for your patience. At least the Dominoes one went quick, 20 minutes is great timing! Apart from possible completion purposes & stat upgrades and all that the full Gambler reinforced equipment set is, imo, the nicest looking one of the bunch as well.

Yeah. I was scrolling though the instagram the whole time. Sitting on the table and leaving at an instant became part of reflex.
I didn't even have the time to look gambling equipment but now I think they're the best looking ones in the game. And I finally completed the game %100. Think I can rest easy today :) Thanks for your help.
