RDO bounty timer too short?

I've decided to try playing online again and noticed the new bounty license, so I bought it and got a bounty that sent me to that mine near Tumbleweed. I shot my way in there and the bounty target was at the very back of the mine, so I ran in and tied him up, then suddenly I get hit with a 1:30 timer and get rushed by a bunch of guys, how on earth am I expected to fight my way out of that mine and get all the way back to Tumbleweed in a minute thirty? Are all the new bounties like this?

This happened me earlier too. I hogtied the bounty and the timer said 1:30 when i put them on my horse it went up to what it normally is.

i dont think the people who made some of these missions have gotten around to play testing them tbh. if they had, they'd probably adjust it so you have more time. your timer vanished? that does indeed kick one in the proverbial nootz

I had a similar experience, had a 4 man bounty, just above Tumbleweed, got there and started taking out the bandits and the bounty targets and got slapped with a 4:30 timer, I managed to clear the area and fight off the incoming waves as I loaded the targets into my wagon. Each target had a wave of 5 enemies come in as I picked one up, so a nice total of 20 additional enemies to fight off while loading up a target. Once all were loaded up and I got on the wagon, I had 1:15 left on the timer, I made it back to Tumbleweed Sheriff with 9 seconds left on the clock.

But I have had that exact same issue that you described at the Gaptooth Mine as well. It's stupid. Bounties, in my opinion, shouldn't even have timers. I mean seriously, you capture the guy, and my way, they always dead, why is the timer a thing, what, you get to the sheriff and he's suddenly gonna be all like, "Oh, well sorry but they not wanted anymore." Did someone beat me to it and pay their bounty off?

Some timers are short. When you pick up the target pull out your pistol and start running towards your horse while gunning down anyone in you path. Do not stay and try to defeat them, run and gun. I have failed to give in bounties by 1 sec and it is so infuriating :)

i picked up two trargets who had 40 second delivery back to valentine
i didnt even get out of the mission area and the thing was over
