Is Read Dead Redemption 2 hard, easy or okay?

Its on sale, I'm considering getting it but am not sure about Rockstar Games. Because I found GTA 3 very hard after some missions I mean the later missions very hard and same with Vice City and San Andreas. Also Max Payne 3 I found pretty hard. I have an injury that makes my main arm right one very weak so I cant point as well as I used to plus I use the trackpad not a mouse so I honestly am not good at most games especially if they aren't set up with trackpad users in mind. Like even when you maximize sensitivity settings the trackpad just doesn't give a quick movement. Also rockstar forces you to login before the game starts, it bugs me a lot.

So is RDR 2 going to be hard for me or easy? Also I have a 4 gb video card is that going to give me bad frame rates. I recently played mafia def. ed. and it had a bad frame rate even older games like Arkham city and Wolfenstein the new order gave me bad frame rates.

tbh not that hard if you use a controller, but with those specs especially the video card, you unfortunately wont be able to run it. If you have a xbox or ps4 you could check if there's a sale there

The 4GB of VRAM should be fine. The game has two APIs, Vulkan and DX12. Vulkan uses more VRAM than DX12, so to avoid texture pop-in (which Vulkan is prone to) I'd recommend putting texture quality on High when using Vulkan, but bump it up to Ultra when using DX12. VRAM can otherwise pretty much be forgotten about, assuming you'll be playing at 1080p. The GPU itself is what will determine your framerate along with the rest of your specs. What's your setup?

As for your question regarding the game's difficulty: I personally find it really easy (I use a controller with free aim), but my arms are fine so I find that difficult to determine for you. The game does feature a gameplay mechanic called ''Dead Eye'' which you can use at anytime during missions and free roam etc. What it does is it slows down time drastically whenever you activate it, giving you the time to aim properly. At first it will auto-tag targets, but throughout the story it automatically gets upgraded and you'll need to manually tag targets with a key press. This mechanic paired with aim assist, for example, may be helpful to you? Dead Eye does have a ''meter'' which will run out as you're using it, but you can stock up on tonics and other supplies to refill it on the go. You can use Dead Eye as often as you want that way, if you please.

It is extremely easy single player story.
It's "game journalist difficulty" throughout the game.

The story mode is so boring and easy I couldn't play for an hour before falling asleep. 2 friends played too and couldn't be bothered to go far because it is just a hand holding live action book.
I was so glad when rdr2 online went on steam for 5 bucks. At least online has some challenges if nothing more than trying to guess what the other players will do to you if they get close enough lol.

You're gonna get mixed feelings by asking this but for ME it was kinda hard, but worth it because it's one of the greatest games out there.

The story mode is pretty easy. Online is only difficult if you're interacting with other players or trying to do challenges. It's easy if you're just hunting or exploring.

Mostly its easy but if you play with KB/Mouse its a bit harder but fun. Also what your video card so we can know if you run the game or not

since you have trouble running those older games, i highly doubt it your system can even run this game.

unfortunately it's too easy and the story is disappointing but exploring the world and messing around in the open world is fun at least
