RD3 set in Mexico

With a young Javier Escuella as the protagonist.

Javier's an already established character with an interesting backstory that has appeared in both previous games

the setting of an expanded Mexico fits with in the RD universe and would provide unique characters and locations to get to know that we haven't seen already

you can expand the series's lore a whole lot without contradicting much that happens in the other games set in the US

It would fit the definition of prequel to a prequel that many have suggested.

There's a lot of possibilities here.

There'd be no Redemption part though.
I guess they could call if Red Dead Revolution as Javier was a Mexican revolutionary, doesn't have the same ring to it though. Also I have no interest in his character. In RDR2 he isn't really important and in RDR1 he's relevant for only a short while before you kill him..

Red Dead Revolution actually sounds like a pretty good name. Red Dead Redemption started out as Red Dead Revolver after all. Maybe they could drop the Redemption angle and just go for a "Red Dead" series.

I don't think there would be much for his story, so maybe as DLC for RDR2 it would work, but that's if R* releases a damn update for singleplayer
