PS4 Controller, no aim assist

Hello, so the issue is when playing with a ps4 controller aim assist doesn't trigger, Playstation controller support is enabled in the steam settings, and aim assist and strength is set in game as well, but it still doesn't work

This is for my friend who just got the game yesterday, all of my other friends have had no issues so any help would be appreciated, thank you!

belive it or not but in my case, the controller supports are reversed, i put ps4 support i get Xbox controls, and on Xbox support i get ps4 controls, (Controls = the buttons on controller/ shown in game eg. mount horse, either it is Y or Triangle, R1 or RB etc.. XD, depending on the support mode i choose)

Edit: I have aim assist on Single player with Ps4 controller, no idea on RDO i dont play it
