Animal fat?

Anyone got some lately? I've killed ducks, turkeys, pigs, sheep, deer, boars, grizzlies in the hundreds and I can't seem to find any animal fat anymore.
I'm on pc.

they're probably right, once you got max of any type of resource gained from an animal kill, you should see a message like "you have the maximum number of this resource" flash on your screen. want animal fat? use some up, not sure what recipies it is used in tho....

Yea, I did have max amount, When I was gonna craft yesterday, I had none.
Apparantly I don't get notified when gaining fat after skinning, just for meat and skin.

Arthur's doctor told him to lay off the animal fat.. His LDL cholesterol level was too high. :-D
