Legendary Onyx wolf

Ive tried hunting this thing in wapiti so many times after waiting for the 3 day cooldown 3-4 times now every single time it spawns under the map? its the only creature that does this what the hell am i supposed to do to get the pelt

because im standing directly on the location of where the ? and i can hear the growling under neith i also use legendary pheoromones and it says it is unsure of its origin i know all the spawning locations of it in wapiti and 4 times its been under the map

Don't attack wolves first, let them aggro on you and chase, then the onyx spawns along.

No not in online. It spawns or it doesn't.
ANd the wolf under the map is a pretty known bug.
We had it too remember? Up on that rock: hearing the wolf cry and aggro but no where to be found.

A reset or a lobby switch might help.

There are other place it will spawn. I got him to spawn by Bacchus Bridge.

He attacked me with a pack of wolves down by where the veteran with the white horse hangs out by the geysers. I remember because it was one of the first freeroam legendaries I found. Or who found me.
