Worn Cattleman Revolver Stuck on Horse

Guys this is so annoying, I have a Worn Cattleman Revolver stuck in my horses inventory. But the plot twist is, when I go to my weapons locker and go to the "Horse" tab, IT'S NOT THERE!

When I actually equip it in my hand and go to the chest and to the "Equipped" tab, IT'S NOT THERE!

The game is refusing to acknowledge that the stupid worn cattleman revolver is literally in my hand or on my horse. So I can't store it or do anything with it, it's ALWAYS PRESENT like a bad ex gf. Has this happened to anyone else? Any solutions?

I tried googling this specific issue but didn't see any results. Thanks.
