Yup, I'm well aware of how it works. Shoot their horse, you'll see how effective it actually is.
The ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL thing to do to avoid being killed right from the jump is to run really far to the side. People tend to ignore you if you run to the side unless they're actually trying to defend the train itself because their posse member is on it or something. Get away from the other people immediately and take the minutes to approach the train from the front/side.
As well, similar to diving out the way while you're on foot, you can always lean to the side while riding your horse if your bounty hunter level is high enough. If you're being oneshot by practically everything, I would strongly suggest investing in defensive ability cards.
Sneaky-Edit: Taking out their horse may as well be a death sentence for people that follow you off the direct path. It's so fantastic. :D
Edit: Also, I do happen to have defensive ability cards but only 2 of them since I'm low level.
Edit: Sorry if I sounded harsh, but I really hate the "cope" meme. It's such a dismissive and basic shutdown of thought and argument.
So the word itself just works. Whether it be a meme or not doesn't matter; the word, by itself, fits for what I need to say. Learn to cope with the situation and stop being a frickin' pansy about the whole thing. I care not if my tone sounds aggressive.
Extra Edit: Kind of sorry if, somehow, what we've been saying hasn't stuck, but at some point, you have to realize that maybe your problem is just you if none of the advice we give works. (also changed an adjective)
Just because you offer advice doesn't mean the advice was good or helpful. Again, your advice was the strategy I had already employed in my game, and it did not work in the slightest. Calling me a pansy or telling me to "cope" is not helping either.
Run to the side. And if cliffs and crap are in your way, go around the cliffs and stuff. If cliffs and stuff are there, logically speaking, doesn't that help you to not get shot from people who spawn in, or are you just bad and incapable of understanding the advice we've given?
Maybe you're just not cut out for PvP if you can't get over a simple thing like, "Approach from an angle that isn't directly head-on from the same way all of your opponents are approaching from."
EDIT: Also, nothing wrong with pansies. Flowers are nice. :P
Again you fail to grasp the complaint.
Nothing you say here would make the game mode less of a chaotic clusterf*ck. Also, if the train tracks are surrounded by map edge or impassible terrain such as tunnels or sheer cliffs, the only way to get around them would be hacks or bugs. Surely you're not suggesting to employ these methods to win, I hope.
I fail to see how being locked on the train tracks with the other players protects me from the other players. This advice is just nonsense and I suspect you're just trying to troll me now.
Again, I was not the only one miserable in this game mode. It is multiplayer, afterall, and I mentioned that only very few people in the match were able to score any points. Almost everyone had death counts in the high 30's/low 40's even though the match was only around 3 minutes long.
