How to play RDR2 Modded single player ONLY and not get banned from online.
Hello!

I want to play the story to RDR2 modded but I don't know what I need to do so I don't get banned if I play the online portion.

To make it clear: I do not want to mod the online portion. If I were to download mods for the single player only would online verification detect the single player mods then ban me?

Thank you!

Dont do it.
The Story is amazing as is. The immersion and fullfillment comes with playing it from your involvment learning and exploring brings out the best in this game. Its well worth it for you to try it.

The only mod I would like is to remove the stupid black borders from cutscenes. I know such a mod exists, but I too fear the wrath of the crappy online mode to flag it as a hack. Not that I have any plans to ever play the online mode, but better safe than sorry.

Have to live with the lame borders I guess. :(

I've played through the story three times. I just want to do another playthrough with modded additions.

Nexus Mods has some okay mods, and you can even load a Trainer that allows extensive customization (and cheating) - i have run Story Mode with these installed without being banned.

However, the Mods are very Quirky, and can cause game and mission bugs - which is why i dumped them - the mods have quite horrible design and upkeep

You may need to uninstall Mods before playing RDO to avoid bannable issues, but single-player gaming should never restrict mods or cheats.
