This game is taking an absurd amount of time to launch

I just timed it, and it takes over two minutes to get to the main menu, and a bit under four minutes to get into the game world once I press start. I have it on a hard drive, but still, this can't be normal, right?

It's normal for literally every Rockstar game.

Really? That sucks. Does putting it on an SSD help at all? Is it even worth it?

Over 2 minutes to get to the main menu alone seems pretty long, my console copy loads faster than that. Don't have the game on a HDD on PC so I can't compare those numbers directly, but for me personally the game takes one and a half minute to fully load up and be playable from the moment it opens on an SSD. That's on DX12 with mods, Vulkan loads a bit faster. I'd definitely try moving it to your SSD, 6 or so minutes total wasted on loading sounds frustrating.

I would, but I don't have a whole lot of space left on my SSD, and RDR2 is huge. I'll try clearing up some space.
