Sound is gone after Gun sound in the beginning

Does anyone know how to fix this? I already tried making the game sound harder since it starts at 10% or something like that. Even if its 100% i hear nothing ingame.

Game-bug that has happened since a recent update to RDR2.
When at menu or pause in the game, Alt + Enter (to toggle to a window mode) or Alt + Tab to go out of the game, on your Windows Task Bar tray-area right-click on the Speakers icon, open the Volume Mixer and then move-up the volume slider for the RDR2 game. Go back into your game and hopefully the volume should be back again.
It's annoying but hopefully RockStar fixes it soon.

Thank you but this does not fix it for me unfortunately.

Bummer. You could try changing the game's sound output settings, like if you had for a Headset selected, try setting it for something else instead.

I already tried many things. Rdr2 does not give you an option to sellect 1 of more stereo's or headsets. I can only switch between stereo and headset but it does nothing. Thanks anyway! :)

I had to unplug my headset before i start the game up and plug it in after i was in the game.

have you tried verifying the integrity of your files? it happened to me once and in my case there was this file that is seems to be corrupted.
