Anyway to play without rockstar launcher
I dont want to download a stinky seperate launcher to play this game.

You don't have to download anything. Just buy the game on Steam and click play.

The game, RDR2, requires the Rockstar Launcher running to play. And, if one buys the game from Steam, then it requires the Steam Launcher running to play too.

why would i want to make an account for a launcher i would use for one game? steam has all my games

The Rockstar Launcher and a Social Club account are an integral parts for running the game.
Steam can't help you in that regard.
