The positive reviews
Im sure this threat already excist. But the recent reviews are at 95%.
This sounds very well, especially when i compared to the reviews at release.

It was review bombed because many users could not even start the game a year ago. Since then there have been lots of Rockstar launcher updates and game patches so it's been more or less playable.

The game is a masterpiece and I never regretted buying it.
Cool! thx
It's a truly great game now. Almost 99.9% glitch free over my 180 hours of play. An epic, epic story, that you shouldn't miss. The whole game lingers in the mind when its over, and makes you wish that Red Dead Redemption would be remastered for PC so we could play that too.

Well.... if you don't mind horrible support, frequent bugs, and a community which has become more toxic since the online version became available for $5... go for it and buy it.

If you care about reliable and friendly service from the people you bring your hard earned cash too, if you want a developer who takes the blame for their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (instead of telling you their terrible performance is your fault for having (insert some lame excuse here)... look for something else.

I dont have any complaints about the story mode but the online is pretty bad. Buggie as hell, connection issues, mod menus running amok, griefing is encouraged, and they've started locking gameplay elements like fast travel and ammo capacity into battle passes (also, boring after awhile. But I do like it for some reason I don't know)

The game is a masterpiece. It use to crash on me non stop and yet it was still fantastic. Games like this are rare. They don't come along very often. Online is fun but the SP story is amazing. I have no regrets buying this game.

Brand new player here. Only 7 hours into the game and absolutely addicted.
The story so far is unbelievable, and the world feels alive and next gen!
I couldn't help but notice the sudden rating increase as well. It went from Mostly Positive to Overwhelmingly Positive...? Isn't the game still badly optimised though...?
Visually: stunning.... but, it seems they spent more time on looks (and Story Mode) than they did with Online Mode.

You buy it because you have enough confidence in yourself to make your own decisions, or don't buy it for the same reason.

Badly optimized? No, it's tip top. It's not a technical creampuff though.

99.9% glitch free? Would you not consider the sound glitch a massive draw back? That is enough to make me down vote the game after 26 hours of play and retire it to the moth ball section of my steam account.

From what little I've sampled of it, it doesn't appear to be tip-top. GTAV, as far as I'm concerned, is tip-top. It wasn't when it was first released (not until after many patches), but from what I've gathered, that game is friendly towards lower-mid range hardware. RDR2, on the other hand, has given people problems with fairly decent hardware. I read the devs of the port have handled it with future hardware in mind. The same bunk that was said when GTAIV's PC port came out, and look at how optimised that is... I think I've read/heard that the PC ports are handled by different teams...? The team who did the Max Payne 3 PC port did GTAV, and the team who did GTAIV, did RDR2, or something like that.

Every new launch is review bombed on steam, bigger the title worse it is.

Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 were exact same way. Next big triple A game in 2021 is Starfield and it'll get hammered for the first 2 months or so, guaranteed lol
So design games for people with lower-mid range hardware WTF No Thanks
