Can't perfect squirrel pelt from a perfect squirrel carcass.

I acquired a perfect squirrel carcass but when i break it down, nothing comes out of it. Then when I the carcass donate to Pearson, it doesn't count the pelt. Google search says these the methods to get a perfect squirrel pelt. Not sure what im doing wrong.

Don’t break it down, just turn it in after you kill it, if you already did this then I’m not sure whats going on.

Breaking down a perfect squirrel carcass is the way i do this.

I dont remember if the carcass indicates perfect or not though.

Squirrels should only be killed with a small game arrow, and i have sometimes killed a perfect squirrel with a small game arrow and ended up with a less than perfect pelt.

I think it has to do with where you hit the squirrel, but maybe not - i know it matters with the snake

I can't be bothered with bow and arrow. But as I just made the effort to get the Buck antler trinket, I'll try it on squirrel. I reckon varmint rifle, shoot top of head. Yes usually squirrels just go in bag, I think.

Yeah everytime I turn in to Pearson, the squirrel pelt requirement for his sachet remain locked
