I always liked this song from the first RDR more:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ybPCNp1YrE
Man it was a powerful moment back in the day. And the one that plays when you're riding back to Beecher's Hope after Dutch trips off the cliff.
If Arthur faced every challenge with a "get out of my way while i take what i want, and maybe i'll kill you anyway" attitude - again, the song at the end could be inappropriate.
However, if Arthur only killed when needed, was more and more confused by Dutch's spiraling reasoning and inconsistent behavior, was still being loyal to the gang more than simply loyal to Dutch, was caring more about his "family" than about himself, was broken by the loss of Hosea - and was interested in "helping those that need helping"... well, the song can catch you good.
You raise a really good point.
It would have been very good if they played a different song at that part for each ending.
