Still no fix for guns unequipping themselves?

My guns frequently unequip themselves when I get off my horse. I've gone to the weaponsmith to make a gun loadout, but that doesn't change it. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is it a bug?

Well you claim it's a feature and not a bug. There are bugs in this game that havent been fixed since launch.

You unequip your large guns when enter to any village or camp, it's not a bug.

It is one of those rdr2 realism thingy, the main character put his weapon on the horse's saddle when you ride the horse so when he get off from the horse the weapon will still on the horse unless you press L1 (i play on console) after getting off the horse then he will immediately take the previous selected weapon. From gameplay perspective this is relatively annoying but this game tend to put realism before convenience.

Way to prevent is to equip a weapon soon as you get on Betsy then unequip as you riding and it'll remember your loadout

I have something similar, when I get off my horse my equipped rifle sometimes changes to a different rifle. This does not always happen and mostly happens when I get off my horse while it is still moving.

I do also wonder how I can remove weapons from the list. I put them in the locker, but somehow when I am on the horse I can still select them making it take longer to select a different weapon.
