Are there consequences for getting killed?
Being quite new to this game I'm getting killed fairly often by wolves, bears and humans in the Story mode.

Some missions I have restarted by reloading a previous save, but my progress is being slowed significantly. Does it matter if you get killed in the story mode? Should I reload and replay the mission or just continue on?

Also, what consequences are there in getting killed online? Do you lose stuff or money?

If you die in story mode, you lose some $$$ and all pelts that was previously stored on your horse. So if you go hunting for perfect pelts, make a manual save beforehand.

pretty sure saving doesn't save the pelts.
it does.
